A course of a different color...

I had such an awesome time last year at The Color Run. Have you ever done it? Color cornstarch being doused at runners. Runners making "color angels" at the stations. Well, they came back! And unfortunately I was going to be out of town for this years happiest 5K on the planet. And then I thought, why not volunteer?!! So I did :)

Who doesn't love color runners?! I reported to Scheels in Omaha at 10 am. I received a FREE t-shirt. Woo-hoo!!! I <3 free stuff! Kyle helped me get to my station of checking people in. I got my own iPad and was shown how to easily check the runners in to give them their bibs.

Runners began checking in around 11am. Checking in the runners was super easy. I loved hearing all the team names! Good job, Omaha for creating such FUN names :) I only wish I could remember some. More than 8,500 runners were registed for the event. Holy cow...check out all this color!!!!

If you ever have the opportunity to participate or even volunteer, DO IT. It's a non-competitive event for ALL. Fast...slow...ANYONE. Just have fun! And who doesn't want to do a Color Run?
